John C Fremont Battle of Bands

Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

John C. Fremont Days is asking our local musicians to tune up their instruments for a new event at the Chautauqua Tent in 2017!

Details below:

There will be two big rounds.  Each band plays for 8 minutes; next band plays for 8 minutes, and on it goes. The winner of each big round competes with one song: a final rock-off for the honor of Band Champ! Yes, that’s right, there will be no actual prize…

EXCEPT A 30 MINUTE SET AT THE END OF THE EVENING FEATURING THE WINNING BAND!

Voting is done by cash donations (SO BRING YOUR FRIENDS, THEIR FRIENDS, YOUR PARENTS, THEIR PARENTS, ETC.) with all proceeds going to The Hope Center for Kids in Fremont, Ne. The Hope Center is an after-school program for kids in Fremont. It’s creator, Ty Schenzel, a Fremont native, began the program in Omaha years ago, and recently opened a satellite center in Fremont.
